Get to Know Dr. Patil-Sisodia

Dr. Komal Patil-Sisodia, MD, DABOM, MSCP, is on a mission to transform how women navigate midlife health. A board-certified Internist, Endocrinologist, Obesity Medicine specialist, and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, Dr. Patil-Sisodia is passionate about empowering women to understand and optimize their metabolic and hormonal health during one of life’s most pivotal stages.

She earned her medical degree through the prestigious combined Bachelor’s-MD program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, followed by rigorous residency training in Internal Medicine (2004-2007) and fellowship training in Endocrinology (2007-2009) at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. Since 2009, she’s helped countless women address hormonal and weight concerns, recognizing the overlooked connections between midlife, metabolism, and emerging health issues like prediabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension. Her personal midlife journey deepened this focus, inspiring her to earn certifications in Obesity Medicine (2020) and Menopause Care (2024).

Dr. Patil-Sisodia understands the frustrations of today’s healthcare system, where rushed visits leave women with unanswered questions. Determined to change this, she launched the Reset Recharge podcast to help women understand and feel empowered to take control of their metabolic health and midlife journey. Recently, she founded Eastside Menopause & Metabolism. This unique practice provides women the time, attention, and tailored guidance they need to navigate aging with confidence and vitality, blending medical expertise with compassionate care.

Her dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed—Dr. Patil-Sisodia has been honored as a Top Doc by Seattle Met Magazine (2018–2024) and Seattle Magazine (2021–2024). She also serves on the King County Medical Society board of trustees. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her husband and son, traveling, or tinkering with recipes in her kitchen.
