Dr. Patil-Sisodia's work began with something personal:

Watching her mother fight to be fully heard inside a healthcare system not designed around her. The relentless self-advocacy her mother required just to have her concerns taken seriously never left her.

It followed her through rigorous training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at USC's Keck School of Medicine, and into years of clinical practice where she kept noticing the same pattern: women were often treated, but not always fully believed. Their symptoms were reframed. Their discomfort normalized. Their most complicated questions compressed into minutes.

She experienced it herself. Through infertility, chronic pain, and her own midlife hormonal shifts, she understood from the inside what her patients were describing. Those experiences deepened her focus, leading her to pursue additional certification in Obesity Medicine in 2020 and Menopause Care in 2024.

So she built something different.

Eastside Menopause & Metabolism exists because women deserve time, context, and real answers. Appointments here are starting points, not endpoints. Lab results are explained, not just delivered. Midlife hormonal shifts are treated as the legitimate physiological transitions they are: worthy of depth, nuance, and genuine investment.

Her goal is straightforward: women who understand their own bodies are harder to dismiss, make stronger decisions, and carry that knowledge everywhere, long after the appointment ends.

Dr. Patil-Sisodia is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Obesity Medicine, and is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She has been named a Top Doc by Seattle Met Magazine since 2018 and Seattle Magazine since 2021.
